Motion Graphics

Overview

Students embark on a semester-long project to produce a 10 minutes long multimedia piece that will be screened and evaluated by a jury panel. Lecturers guide students to pick a title or theme, conduct research, produce a script, plan the production, record sound, direct the shooting with digital camcorder and edit the finished piece. Students develop skills in the creation of motion typography and graphics applied to design challenges including identity, information, and conceptual expression, whether for linear or interactive sequential design.
